I'm excited to finally launch my very own website!
I never would have thought of this, but building a website is much like composing a new piece. It's easy to think of how the big parts will fit together in the overall form, but when you get down to it, there are so many small decisions to be made (and you can't just change keys to revitalize the material)!
This picture is all the materials I needed to compose L'évolution des brouillards..., the first piece that made me really feel like a composer. I thought it would be a great photo to accompany my very first blog post as a composer with a website!
Please browse all around my website and check back on the blog for new updates. I'll be posting at least twice a month on events, new compositions, ramblings, or whatever interesting discussions I'm having with my colleagues and mentors. I hope you'll enjoy my website as much as I did creating it!
Thanks to Drs. Bancks, Horst, Magnuson, Schimmel, and Zare for having excellent websites for me to draw inspiration from!
Extra special thanks to everyone who has encouraged me to create this website. Your feedback has been phenomenally helpful throughout this process!
If you haven't already, check out my post on revisiting Major Andre's Way. It was a great experience to go back and polish an older piece after its premiere.
Until next time!
