flash-BANG is an attempt to have a lot of music happen in a very short period of time. The piece opens with a "flash" which abruptly disintegrates into a tense, uneasy world. Tension continually grows as more instruments come together after the initial shock. Soon, the tension erupts into a brash, obnoxious, extended climax, working into an utter frenzy before suddenly collapsing out of sheer exhaustion.
