A Chord Breaks came from a collaboration between the Illinois State University composition studio and a film course from the School of Art. I worked with Sarah Foote, a talented director who delivered an engaging and thoughtful video canvas for me to work with. I manipulated piano, saxophone, and trumpet samples to create an intense and vibrant sound world to accompany the film.
