COMPOSING IN AN INCONGROUENT WORLD

"Talking about music is like dancing about architecture." —Martin Mull, probably.
If the above is true, why make music? We as a society HAVE to talk about all arts, including music. Otherwise, we all just live in our own isolated bubbles wondering if we're the only ones who feel X about art Y. That's just not healthy.
The hard part is figuring out HOW to talk about art, and in particular music: academically, emotionally, spiritually? All of the above? None of the above? Does it matter?
I've written some music and written about it to various degrees. See what you think. Send me a message if you want to talk some words at me, or if you want to bring my music to wherever you are and maybe talk about it with your audiences. Keep me posted.
